Chat sync

Bring in the deals already in your DMs.

Your best conversations started long before Hilsen. Bring them in from each account: chats you pick, a Telegram folder like “BD”, or every direct message. They stay private to you until you share one.
Hilsen’s chat sync settings for one Telegram account: a note that brought-in direct messages stay private until shared, and the four choices of what to bring in, with Chats I pick selected. Groups are tracked separately; channels and bots never come in.

Four modes, set per account

Offered right after you connect an account, with Nothing selected. Change it any time.
  • NothingOnly chats with leads, like today. Your other Telegram chats stay out of Hilsen.
  • Chats I pickChoose the chats to bring in. New people who write to you stay out.
  • A Telegram folderBring in the people in one of your Telegram folders, e.g. “BD”. New chats in it follow.
  • All direct messagesEvery one-to-one chat with a person. New people who write to you are added too.

Privacy

Private to you until you share a chat

Enforced by Postgres row-level security, not just hidden in the interface. Share a chat with your team from the Inbox when it’s ready, or all of an import at once.

How Hilsen keeps private chats private

Preview first

See exactly what comes in

A scan lists people only, with their last message, a rough message count and unread. Bots, groups, channels, Saved Messages and Telegram’s own service chats are left out.
  • Filter by recent activity (the last 90 days by default), search, and untick anyone.
  • 20 to 500 messages per chat, 100 by default, newest first.
  • Photos, voice notes and files become placeholders like “[Voice message 0:12]”. Nothing is downloaded.
  • Already a team lead? Their history joins the team conversation, and the preview says so before you import.
  • Add people to a never-sync list so they never come in.

Read-only

Sync only reads

  • Never sends

Sync never sends a message, never marks anything as read and never changes your online status.
  • Out of automation

Campaigns and Autopilot never act on a synced chat, and imported history doesn’t count in your analytics.
  • Remove any time

Remove a chat or a whole import from Hilsen. It deletes what sync added and never touches Telegram.
